UCR professor and internationally acclaimed writer, Nalo Hopkinson, joins the Boston Review podcast from the studios of KUCR.
“In this podcast, the award-winning writer Nalo Hopkinson reads her story, “Waving at Trains,” featured in Boston Review’s 2017 literary issue, Global Dystopias. She also talks about the politics of dystopia, writing from the Global South, and why we must imagine black mermaids into being.”

Latin Grammy nominees Flor De Toloache performs “Dulces Recuerdos” in the studios of KUCR 88.3FM, for their interview in a production for the BBC. The first and only all-women mariachi group embraces old tradition and pushes new boundaries, by reinterpreting and expanding this genre of art and music.
