Latin Grammy nominees Flor De Toloache performs “Dulces Recuerdos” in the studios of KUCR 88.3FM, for their interview in a production for the BBC. The first and only all-women mariachi group embraces old tradition and pushes new boundaries, by reinterpreting and expanding this genre of art and music.
It appears the KUCR’s current historic building will be demolished and a new building will be constructed within what’s being called the North District (formerly UCR Crest Family Housing). Three different developers are being considered to replace student family housing with high-density housing, sports fields, and a facility for KUCR.
The selection of the developer is important and we’d like you to attend their public presentation, and help us to support the best one.
The presentation will be held at Highlander Union Building (HUB) 302, on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. – 1:15 p.m. Please join us by registering to attend by clicking on the link.
KUCR presents another edition of FM Nights featuring Foliage, Katzu Oso, and Scout. on Friday, September 29, 2017. KUCR DJs will start at 6pm, with bands starting at 7pm. Located at Back to the Grind Coffeehouse in downtown Riverside. See ya there!
