UCR Healthy Campus partnered with the UCR School of Medicine to address the hesitations that UCR community members and their families may have about the COVID-19 vaccines. Our goal was to educate the public on the facts versus the myths of the vaccines. Our two speakers were Dr. Andres Gonzalez, the Chief Medical Officer for UCR Health and an Associate Clinical Professor of Neurology at the UCR School of Medicine, and Dr. David Lo, the Senior Associate Dean of Research, and a distinguished professor of biomedical sciences. The discussion was hosted by students Nitya Loganda, Neha Loganda and Karlee Labrador, who are all members of the UCR Healthy Campus communications committee, which is led by staff member Melanie Ramiro.
